Kayson's Big Day!

January 2, 2011 was a big day for Kayson.... he was blessed by Coby in our Ephraim 5th ward at 11:00 am. It was such a great day and Kayson received a wonderful blessing from his father and Father in Heaven. Although he cried throughout the blessing (a mother's blessing day fear) Coby remained calm and proceeded with a wonderful blessing for our little boy.
Several pics to follow.....

Here is our little stud muffin in his blessing outfit! It's not the easiest trying to get a little boy to hold still and hurry and get pictures so your not late for church! :)

And here is one of Coby's best friends Rhett holding Kayson.... good thing we caught it on camera because supposedly Rhett won't hold babies :) We have some of the greatest friends and are so glad they were able to come!

Love this one... Grandpa Scott Madsen playing with Kayson!

It was such a beautiful and neat day for our little family! We are so grateful and thankful for the wonderful families and friends that we have and for their love and support.

Christmas in Mayfield

On December 26th, we celebrated Christmas with Coby's familiy in Mayfield! Everybody wasn't there, but we had a lot of fun. We always have a good time when Coby and his siblings get together at his Dad and Analee's house

Here we all are in our matching pjs! I love getting these every year! Kayson even has the matching boy shorts :)

Here I am with my little bud! He handles the excitement very well :)

Here is Kayson with Grandpa Reid! Coby's dad is getting so good with little babies :)

And then here is Coby and his brother Shane, being.... Coby and Shane!

Can you tell they are brothers?? :) And I have to admit how sexy they look in their matching jammies!

Christmas 2010

As always, Christmas couldn't come fast enough! I love the whole holiday season and the time of year when we get to reflect upon and remeber our Savior's birth. As I've mentioned before, Christmas meant so much more this year having our little Kayson with us.

He has been so much fun and we love watching him grow and change every day!

This was around the 10th of December.... such a happy boy!!

My sleepy boys!

Every year growing up we celebrated Christmas Eve down at my Grandma Aagard's house and it is always so much fun. We are usually with my family every other year for Christmas and we were able to be there again this year. It was difficult not having my Grandma Aagard there, but it's so great that we still have our families and that we are all so close to one another.

Christmas Eve down at my Grandma Betty's house

We spent Christmas Eve and day up at my parents house in Ftn. Green. We always have so much fun up there and had lots of fun with my sister Amanda, Brandon, and Brooklyn being there too.

Every Christmas Eve we open pajamas (one of my favorite traditions) and this year I, along with my mom and sister, were pleasantly surprised with size 4X hideous nightgowns!! :)
I guess that's what we get for letting Coby and Brandon do the shopping.....

Here is Kayson sporting his new Christmas jammies from Annie and Ellen!

Our little family with our Christmas jammies! How come mine are so cute?? :)

Me and my little man.... he was getting pretty sleepy and wanted to go to bed so Santa could come.

And Santa definitely found us!! :)

Kayson loves his new exersaucer, books, and toys that Santa brought

Kayson loves his new play gym that Grandma Brenda gave him

Such a handsome little man!

After a long morning of opening presents, we all decided we needed a little nap!

We were definitely spoiled this year and had such a great Christmas! It was such a special year for us and adding Kayson into our lives has been the greatest blessing we could have ever asked for. I love the Christmas season and love reflecting on my Saviors life and birth. My life has changed so much since having our little one and I can't imagine everything Mary and Joseph, let alone our father in heaven went through with our Savior. I am so grateful for family and the opportunity that we have to be together forever!!

Olsen Christmas Party

I know I'm really late at getting to all of this, but none the less, we had such a fun holiday season. So to start off all of our Christmas festivities, we started out with a bang and had our annual Olsen Family Christmas Party on December 18th in Mt. Pleasant. It is always so fun to get together with family and see everyone. We were even visited by two unexpected visitors.... the MR and MRS CLAUS!! :)

They said we've been very good all year long!!

A kid at heart... and always excited to sit on Santa's lap!

This was Kayson's second visit with Santa... and he wasn't even scared :) Hopefully it stays that way throughout the next 2 years...
Me and my little bud!

Here is Santa with Christian and Kayson.... the two newest additions to our family!
Santa with my twin niece and nephew, Rebekah and Kaden. Let's just say, they weren't Santa's biggest fans :)

And here is more of the crew sitting on Santa's lap.
