Summer: Catch-Up

I can't believe we are already into the month of August!
Summer is flying by.... and we have been having so much fun!

Here is a look at our summer in rewind!

Our little family went to Hogle Zoo the last weekend in July

And of course, went straight to the ELEPHANTS!!!
My absolute favorite!

Kayson loved looking at everything

And thoroughly enjoyed himself on the merry-go-round!

My handsome little cheeseball

Riding the giraffe at the zoo!

We also loved the new attractions at the zoo.... the Dinosaurs!

We had so much fun and a big thanks to Coby's mom for taking us!

We've also had our fun few times at the Manti pool!

Kayson and Christian

Kayson loves swimming and playing in the water!
I felt so horrible though... I caked him with sunscreen, and low-and-behold, he still got sunburned :( His little back and right underneath his eyes got burned.

Guess we need stronger than 50spf for his fair skin! :)

I love this picture of Kayson!
He is always smiling for the camera

And who can forget LAMB DAYS?!?!

Kayson's first Lamb Days 2011

And I'm pretty sure he LOVED IT!

Kayson and Great-Grandma Smith at the parade

Coby and I enjoying ourselves at the concert/program
(one of the few times Coby and I were together this day, due to him being called in numerous times for the MP hospital)

And who was the entertainment you ask.....

None other than my brother-in-law Benji and his band 'Upside'

They were awesome!

Kayson's first "official" haircut, the night before Lamb Days

I trimmed it once before for his 7 month pictures, but I would say this was his "first haircut!"

Here's a few pictures of Kayson just around our house

He is getting so BIG! Almost outgrown the bouncer :)

Just chillin in daddy's hat, playing with his little gym

Kayson loves playing with his daddy

This was Kayson's first time swimming!

He loved it and had so much fun in his little tube.

This was for my O.R. work party!

Me and my handsome

Kayson and his daddy.... Twinners!

My handsome boys, heading to church

And who could forget Alaska?!?

Such a fun trip!

4th of July celebration in Gunnison!

Riding 'Papa Kents' train ride!

Kayson smiled the entire ride

4th of July celebration in Moroni

Loving the parade!

Grandma Brenda came with us!
Kays absolutely loves his grandma

As I mentioned earlier, Kayson loves animals. He just laughs and loves looking/touching them.

Playing with the neighbors horse in FG

The end of May, my mom and I got to go to Les Miserables at the Capitol Theatre!

It was AMAZING!!!
Thanks to my sweetest and bestest friend in the world... MEL!

She gave me two tickets for mother's day!

I love her more than words could ever say!
We had so much fun!

Scandanavian Days in Ephraim

Playing ball with daddy

All in all, we have had a great summer and are enjoying life!
