Growin' Boy

I can't believe that Kayson is already 4 months old!! Time is flying by so fast and he is growing everyday! And here are his latests stats:

WEIGHT: 17 lbs 12 oz

LENGTH: 26 inches

Still topping the charts! :)

And here's our little porker! :)

Kayson is growing so big and so fast. I can't believe how much he changes everyday! Here are some fun facts about Kayson:

-He is constantly rolling and has been since 3 months

(one day he just figured it out and hasn't stopped)

-He is the most happy baby and is constantly smiling and laughing

-He loves people and will smile/laugh for anybody

-He drools like crazy!! I would assume teething, but it's been since he was like 2 months old

-He constantly has to have things in his mouth and wants to suck/chew on everything

-He LOVES bath time

-Enjoys getting rubbed down with lotion everynight

-He loves being read to

-He is still sleeping in our room in the cradle

(we tried the crib for a week and decided: sleep was more important :)

-Usually only gets up once at night (bedtime 10/10:30-7:30)

-He is starting to reach out when we go to hold him or pick him up

(ok maybe just grabbing our hands, but I think he's reaching)

-He loves toys that light up and make noise

-Starting to only eat 5 times in 24 hours (and we can't wait to start cereal soon:)

-Nurses great from both sides, although he preferred the left for the first 2 months

-Toots like crazy... and man can he toot!

-Poops usually every couple of days, nice for changing purposes, but if not caught in time... can lead to BLOW-OUTS!

-Did I mention he is starting to skoot?!? Lifts his little bum up and pushes off with his legs

-He coo's and aahh's (talks) like crazy and loves to hear the sound of his voice

-When fed a bottle will drink anywhere from 5-7 oz

-Wears size 3 diapers and size 3-6 clothes (which are getting snug).... on to the next size! :)

-He loves to cuddle

-He always wants to sit and loves his bumbo!

-Always sucks on his thumb in the tub and will suck on his fists/any finger throughout the day

-He's such a good little traveler (always falls asleep in the car)

-He thinks he is such a big boy and always wants to stand now

-He finally lost his little duck tail/mullet in the back and his hair is coming in so thick (blonde too... not red like I was thinking :)

-He loves his bouncer, swing, play gym, and exersaucer and is starting to figure out all of his toys

-Mostly this little man is spoiled rotten and so loved by his mommy and daddy!

This is the only time we've taken him outside in the snow, but we had the cutest little snow suit that we had to squeeze him in before he grew out of it... just for pictures! :)

Kayson's 3 month pics

Although Kayson is almost 4 months, I just had to quickly post our handsome little boys' 3 month old pictures!! These are just a few of our favorites!

Kayson is the happiest, funniest little guy I know. He is constantly laughing and smiling, but isn't it always true that as soon as the camera appears, the smiles and laughs disappear?!? We slightly struggled through the session, but with the help of his glow-worm, we were able to come away with some great pictures!

The photographer was able to catch a variety of Kayson's looks! I'm so glad she got ones of him laughing and smiling.

We are so in love with this little guy!! He gets more fun every day.

LIl' update!!

So one of my goals is to be bettter at updating this thing... and so far I haven't been doing to good. I figure if I can atleast get to it once a month, then I'm doing pretty good right?!?

As expected, our lives revolve around our little bud, and we wouldn't have it any other way. He is so much fun and such a joy in our lives. We absolutely love him and can't get enough of him. He is getting so big and gets more fun every day!

Kayson absolutely loves the glow worms. This one is Coby's from when he was a baby and Kayson can't get enough. He automatically lights up every time he sees it.

Here is our little man, exactly 2 months. Not quite sure about the bumbo here, but he now loves it.

When Kayson was born, my mom bought him the cutest little scrubs from the Gunnison Hospital gift shop! He looks like such a little stud in them!

And I swear taking pictures of him sleeping never get old!
For some odd reason this is how he napped that day, not posed, I promise!

My mom wanted pictures of the 3 of us in our scrubs, but that never happened and Kayson has way outgrown them... even in the pictures the scrub top is left open in the back :)

Here is Kayson with Grandpa Brad. He loves to cuddle with grandpa and can't get enough of Grandpa's singing!

And then here come the towel pictures! It never gets old and I think he always looks so cute!

About a month ago Kayson found his hands.... and now he can't get enough of them! At first his thumb would slip in occasionally, but now he can be found sucking on his thumb! So cute! He's not quite sure what is going on, but he likes it! :)

This is one of my favorites!! I seriously can't get enough of this little man.

Kayson still loves getting in the tub!! We still bathe him in his little tub in the kitchen sink, but he's been in the big tub a time or two with Coby and absolutely loves it!

We also had the joy of taking Kayson to his first North Sanpete basketball game!

He loved it and was so good the whole game! I was worried about the noise bothering him, but he loved every minute of it.

Other news in our lives.... January 24th I had to come back to work... and let's just say, I don't love it. In fact, I hate being away from my baby! I bawled and bawled the first couple of days, but we are all slowly adjusting. He is home with Coby when I work, so I shouldn't really complain, but I still don't like having to work full time. Coby is such a great daddy and I couldn't have it anyother way. As hard as it is to leave him, I know he couldn't be in any better hands. I have to keep reminding myself that it is only temporary and won't be like this forever. We are continually praying Coby will find something full time so I can cut back, but until then, our little bug needs the insurance, as do we all.

I do however love love love my days off and rush home every day to see my little bud!

It completely melts my heart when I walk in the door and he gets so excited.

He is starting to roll over, suck his thumb, sit up with a little assistance, sleep through the night, and laughs and giggles all the time! We love him so much!
