Well, another year has come and gone, and I must say... Lamb Days will forever be one of my most favorite times of the year!! Some towns celebrate by a one or two day event celebration, but not Ftn. Green. It is a week long celebration, filled with fun all week long!
Some times the preparation for such an event can be grueling, but not with good little helpers around! We were able to spend most of the week hanging out in Ftn. Green due to the fabulous town co-ed Lamb Day softball! Playing softball is one of my most favorite parts.... I think it's Coby's favorite part! :) We had such a fun team this year and only ended up losing to Josie and Marc's green team who won the whole thing! But all in all, had so much fun!! Go ROYAL BLUE Team!!
Kenzi, Kayson and Brooklyn having so much fun at Grandma's all week long!
Getting ready for the parade!
My little handsome man in his new Lamb Days outfit.... its tradition :) Enjoying the parade!
After the parade and our smorgasbord of food for lunch, we headed up to the park for the fun games and activities before the afternoon storm hit! Kayson loved the blow-up slides and bounce house!
And it was also a must to ride the "Sheeper-Creeper"
Kays loved it! And was so into the four wheeler "wheela-wheela" that was pulling us! :)
We finished off the day with a spectacular firework show and watching the championship softball game!
Kayson loves fireworks and we had so much fun watching them from centerfield!
Although another year has come and gone without me running the 5k, it will happened!! It's definitely on my bucket list of things to do! I ran the course with Jenny earlier that week, and to my shocking surprisement, practically ran the whole thing (walked 3 blocks), but was way to sore on saturday to run again. It will happen! It was such a fun filled week, from the breakfast, mutton & sour dough dinner, talent show, mens softball, co-ed softball, the fun runs, and everything else... LOVED every minute!!
