October Fun

Finally a little October/Halloween fun! We have been so busy this last month, but finally made it up to the famous Murray Park "Haunted Trail" and Gardner Village on Oct. 24!

Kayson and I had so much fun touring around the witches village

During our scavenger hunt at Gardner village (searching for all the witches)
we decided it would be fun to interpret the witches we were searching for...
and here is Benji by the witch (on the roof) on her "eye-phone" and
Benj on his I-phone! :)
Jenny and the witch eating her hotdog!

And all the girls by the witch in the hay!

And my little travel buddy!

Doesn't he look so big and handsome?

After Gardner village, we headed to the park in Murray, where they have the 'Haunted Trail'

It was so much fun. Perfect for little kids. After walking through the haunted forest, they give you free hot chocolate and donuts!

We had such a great time! Thanks Annie and Ellen for having us.

Our little Pumpkin!

I can't believe our little man is almost a year! Fun Facts About Kayson:
-He mastered crawling about 2 months ago and is now speeding through our house!

-He is soooo close to walking. He'll walk across the room to Coby or I, and is now starting to pull off of furniture himself and walk across the room!

-He gets so excited when he walks. He starts breathing fast and hard, and starts to laugh

-He DANCES any time he hears music!
-He mastered the stairs, both up and down, a few months ago and will go up and down about 5-10 times a day!
-He's big into cars, wheels, anything that moves and makes a "bbbrrrrooom" sound whenever he sees or plays with them.

-He's big into balls, playing catch, throwing them, bouncing them, throwing stuff down the stairs
(hence the picture, he thought the little white pumpkin was a ball)
-Says a few different words: hat, light (la, or lala), ball, bubble, hi, mom/momma, dadda, grandma, Alyson (Ah-son), uh-oh, and he tries to say 'thank you' and 'cracker'

-He loves strolling and riding in his little bike trailer
-He is so happy and will smile and say 'HI' to everyone!
-He sleeps from 9pm -8:30/9am
-Still has two 1 1/2 hour naps a day

-Only nurses once a day, right before bed time
-Eats everything! We haven't found anything yet that he doesn't like
-He still eats mostly cereal with fruits and veggies, but HAS TO eat everything Coby and I eat
-He'll just sit and grunt or squawk til we feed him what we're eating!

-Lays right down for his naps - sometimes he'll still take his binky, but only if he's really tired!
(so nice he's not attached to it)
-Still LOVES getting in the tub
-Every morning when he wakes me up, he's just jabbering in his crib. I'll walk in and he'll say "hi" and start bouncing up and down :)

-He loves playing and messing around with his daddy! They both get laughing so hard
-He loves to be scared! Coby or I will jump out from around the corner or up the stairs and he loves it!
-He loves reading books and will sit for a long time to read.

- Mostly falls to sleep on his left side, but always ends up in a little stink bug position, with his bum up in the air
-Loves playing patty-cake
-Waves bye-bye and hi and will say both whenever anyone comes or leaves

-Loves playing in the cupboards and dragging everything out
-He loves helping me with dishes... ok throwing everything out of

the dishwasher that I just loaded :)

-Loves when we brush his teeth at night
-And loves toothbrushes.... he'll carry my old toothbrush around with him everywhere!
-Has 8 teeth: 4 on top and 4 on bottom

We sure love our little PUMPKIN!

RUB-A-DUB-DUB

Kayson loves getting in the tub!

Whenever we start the water, he can't get undressed and in there fast enough!

We sure love our little tub man!

Fall Festivities

Just a little update on our lives......

We are loving the fall weather! I've always been a summer or winter type of girl, but these last two years I have realized how much a love FALL!!We love watching out the window as the wind blows and the leaves fall.

We still have enjoyed our hot/warm days though. And love to play ball outside.

It makes us sad when we have to go in!

But can always find ways to entertain ourselves inside.... CAUGHT red-handed!! :)

Who doesn't love playing in the bathroom with toilet paper?!?

After 5 years of being married, Coby and I decided it was time to hike Mollie's Nipple up Mayfield Canyon.

At first Kayson loved his backpack, but later decided he'd rather be out hiking all by himself.

And this was as close as we got, due to the black storm clouds in the sky.

It started pouring on our way back down.

Had we not had Kayson with we would have kept going, but decided it was best to head back down. More inspiration for next year I guess :)

Reid and Analee came with us! Even though we didn't finish the hike, we still hiked straight up the mountain side and I feel like we accomplished quite a bit! :) It was fun... and don't worry, we'll get it next year!
The fall colors were absolutely beautiful!

Just a picture of my big boy feeding himself a snack!

He loves to feed himself and is getting so big

And his new little grin! He pulls this face all the time.... so cute.

We also just recently ventured up Nebo loop for a little fall getaway.

Dad, Kayson, and I..... I sure do loves these two!

Mt. Nebo

Grandma and Kayson skipping rocks at Payson Lakes!

He sure does love his grandma!

And that is our fall so far! We are having so much fun and antsy to get out to Delta!
