~18 Months~

I know everyone says time flies.... and they would certainly be right! I cannot believe that my baby is already a year and a half old!  Where has the time gone??  He seriously is so much fun and is such a good little boy!

Here are some of his latest facts:
-26.2 lbs (50th percentile) and 33 inches (75th percentile)
-He can practically repeat anything we say and is such a good little talker
-He is starting to tell us what he wants and when he wants it (he'll go over to the cookie cupboard and point with his finger and say "cookie")
-LOVES popsicles
-Goes to nursery like a champ!! He is always so good and goes in without batting an eyelash.  He is one of the only ones who isn't crying and just goes in to play!
-Sings "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and "The wheels on the bus" - but its just more of the "round and round" part; (other favorite songs: itsy bitsy spider, once there was a snowman, and pat-a-cak and can sing along with all of them and do the actions :)
-Almost always washes his little tikes coupe/car with wet wipes everyday
-Loves going on walks, bike rides, and hiking
-Loves to explore new places and could care less if mom or dad are in sight
-Says what's up dude?  "up-dude"
-Water, cookie, popsicle, bike: are a few of his newer words, but like I said, he can repeat anything
-He knows some of his shapes and completely shocked me when I started drawing them one day, and he told me what they were without me ever asking him them before: he knows star, moon, circle, and heart... sometimes square and triangle
-He now takes one nap from about 2pm-5pm
-He is still my good little sleeper and sleeps from 8:30pm to 8:30-9:00am

He honestly is so so fun and we couldn't be happier with our little boy!
He truly makes our family what it is!! We love you so much little bud!
(some would be sad over a popped ball.... nope, I think we'll make it into a hat instead!)

St. George Vacay!

This last weekend, our little family got to go on a mini vacation!  We spent the weekend with Coby's family in St. George.  I cannot believe the difference in weather down there.... I loved it! Yes, very hot at times, but I loved having some sun!
The first night we had a little BBQ with Reid and Analee, first BBQ for the season!
Getting ready to head to the baseball fields!
While we were down there, we were able to watch the Gunnison Bulldogs in the 2A State Championship baseball game!

Kayson was a trooper and was so good!

GUNNISON WON STATE!!
Woot Woot!
Go Bulldogs!
Anyone that knows me, knows that I am a sports fanatic! I love watching pretty much every sport, and it doesn't matter if we even have or know anyone playing.  I just love it! But it's especially fun when you have connections to the team.... and Gunnison is near and dear to Coby's heart! :)

After the hot, hot game, the boys all enjoyed themselves in the pool!
Kayson is a little fish, just like his daddy!

While us girls, layed by the side!
Analee and Shae
That afternoon, we found a zipline in St.George.... and decided it was a must!
Our good friends, Carl and Heather, were also down for the weekend and we met up with them for the zipline :)  So much fun!
                                                                   Heather and I
That night the whole crew went to Brian Regan at Tuacahn!
Coby had been looking forward to this for the past 8 months :)
                                                            The girls!

On our way home from St. George, we stopped and hiked the Red Cliffs! I love this hike and would recommend it to anyone who has never been there.

                                         Kayson LOVED the water!
He decided to just sit right down in it! :)

So so pretty and so much fun!

                                    Shanell, Bronse, Brody, Analee, Me
                                                  The hiking clan!
We had such a great great weekend in St. George and had so much fun!

Easter 2012

Easter was so much fun this year! Kayson loved coloring eggs and was so into everything we were doing!

                                                Such a good helper

                                            Easter morning surprise!

Needless to say.... he loved his new car!

That morning we enjoyed the town Easter egg hunt!
It was packed and the eggs/candy were gone in a matter of seconds.
Kayson found a few eggs, but once he found the candy... all he wanted was his sucker :)

Later that day, we just did a mini egg hunt with all the eggs we colored
                                                     Kayson loved it

He was so stinkin' cute carrying his basket full of eggs around

In the afternoon, we went rolling eggs!
Another favorite.. and Kays was having the time of his life!

The weekend didn't quite go as we planned. We were supposed to go to Mayfield with family, also have a BBQ with friends but Kayson was fevering and not quite acting himself. Luckily we stayed home with him, because come to find out.... he had roseloa, and the rash broke out a few days later!
(Not the best picture, but the rash was all over his back and belly)
All in all, we still had a great Easter and enjoyed every bit of it with our handsome little boy!
