Halloween 2013

I swear the holidays get more fun every year, the older our kids get. Kayson was so excited for Halloween and loved reading our Halloween books all October. He was so excited to carve pumpkins, but he ended up just wanting to paint his.

              Coby's-Kayson's-Mine
And we couldn't leave out handsome little Liam!

Kayson was so excited to be Jake the Pirate, from 'Jake and the Never Land Pirates! Honestly, as soon as we put his costume on, he thought he was THE actual Jake and went into this whole different mode! :) It was the cutest thing.  He was parading around the house singing and was ready to fight Captain Hook and count gold debloons! And coloring his hair was the real kicker, that made the whole thing! He loved it! He wasn't Jake unless his hair was black. :)
Liam was a lobster, and the cutest one I have ever seen!  We were able to borrow the costume from a good friend, and I think he looked absolutely adorable.
While we were out trick or treating, Liam just hung out with my parents.
And like most lobsters..... he didn't like being put in the pot! :)
This year we decided to venture in to Ftn. Green for all of the festivites they had going on there! We went to the huge carnival they had at the elementary and Kayson loved playing on all the blow-up slides. Then we enjoyed dinner at the school, followed by "trunk-or-treating" at the park.  Kayson was enthralled with all the people dressed up and would just stare at some of the scarier costumes! After that Coby, my sister Alyson and I took Kayson and Christian around trick or treating (the real way)! They loved going door to door and were so cute! They were real pro's by the end of the night!  They had so much fun going together and I'm glad we went in so Kayson had a buddy to go with!
Halloween 2013
Hope you all had as great of a holiday as we did!

Midway

The weekend of August 16, 2013 we ventured to Midway/Park City with our Knudsen family!

It was so fun to have a little get away with our two boys and then have the cousins and grandma and grandpa there.
While we were there we went swimming in the Midway Crater! It was so much fun,  55 feet from water to the opening and then 65 feet deep and a constant 97 degrees! Such an awesome natural hot springs.

At the entrance
Top L: Coby and I          Top Right: me, Shanell, Kennedi, and Mckenzie
Bottom L: Shanell, Mckenzie, Kennedi, Me and Coby

We were also able to take Kayson to feed the ducks at a beautiful golf course right next to our condos. It was so much fun! I've been wanting to take him feeding ducks as long as we've had him, and this was our first time taking him.  He LOVED it!

Look at that form!  :)  I love the bread crumb flying in mid air shot!
We also spent a day in Park City shopping and going on the alpine slides! Of which, once again Kayson loved.  He squealed the entire ride down. It was so much fun! He is such a fun little boy! He was able to go again with his cousin Jaymen (whom he loved on the entire trip!)

And here we all are (well the ones who made the trip)
Kyler, Shae, Daniel, Me, Coby, Kennedi, Liam, Bronse, Brody, Shane Shanell, Daxton, Analee, Kayson, Reid, and Jaymen!
We had so much fun and can't wait for our next family trip!

Liam's Newborn Pics!

I realized that I hadn't posted Liam's newborn pictures yet, so here they are!

Liam was 8 days old in these pictures and did so well for his photo shoot (minus the fact that he pooped on the photographers blanket :)
The picture above is one of my favorites!

This close up hat pic is probably my favorite!

I don't love these family ones!  As if you don't feel fat and horrible enough after a baby, you can't tell where my body ends and Kayson's begins. But oh, well! Still fun to capture the moment!

                               Love my boys!
And here's his birth announcement!
Sure love my handsome little man!
(Honestly, he looks bigger in these newborn pictures than he does now at 3 months)

Lamb Days 2013

Once again, Lamb Days came and went... but what a great week it was!
We did fun things all week long, and the kiddos and I had a great time staying at Grandma and Grandpa's in Ftn. Green.

We got together with the cousins and had a big water slide party!
Every night, there was the traditional town co-ed softball tournament, and we had to be inventive to keep the 2 year olds entertained during the games.  Kays and "Ton-Ton" battling it out on the scooters.
And other times they'd just sit back and play games on our phones! Kays and his cousin Aubree
               Ready for the parade!

             Liam's first Lamb Days!

All the kids getting antsy for some candy!
The Aagard Cousins!  I love them all so much! We always have so much fun together!
And so glad to have Nathan home from his mission too!
One evening when we were all at my mom's house, Kayson was playing out in the garage, and came back looking like this!  He looks like chicken little!  Love my spunky little boy!
And I couldn't miss giving a shout out to the "Brown" team! We may not have been the best, but we had fun and had a blast playing with Ryan this year!

And what's Lamb Days, without a pet sheep playing at the playgroud with all the kids?!?  Kayson and Aubree were loving it! It was such a fun year! Can't wait until next year already!
